Degree:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major field of study that included 24 semester hours in course work in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. Related course work generally refers to courses that may be accepted as part of the program major. OR Combination of education and experience that included 24 semester hours in course work in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, AND experience sufficient to demonstrate that I possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform work in the occupation that is comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of a full 4-year course of study with a major in the appropriate field needed to perform the work of the occupation. In addition to meeting the basic education qualifications above, you must possess the following specialized experience listed below. For the GS-11 level:
Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To qualify for this position at this grade level, your resume must clearly show all of the following duties:
Acquiring, processing, analyzing and managing geospatial data to support multi-disciplinary research and/or natural resource management decisions; Calibrating, initiating, managing, and validating spatially detailed ecological landscape models; Tabulating, statistically analyzing, and summarizing natural resource data using personal computers and software packages OR 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (coursework directly related to position being filled). Coursework must be in a field such wildlife, forest or landscape ecology, landscape or ecological modeling, geospatial technology, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for managing natural resources. OR An appropriate combination of specialized experience and graduate level education described above. Only those credits beyond what is required for a master's degree, i.e., more than 36 semester hours leading to a Ph.D., are creditable at this grade level. Coursework must be in a field such wildlife, forest or landscape ecology, landscape or ecological modeling, geospatial technology, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for managing natural resources. Experience:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
